Thou Shalt Island Hop!!!!

Trust The Process Of Travelling.

The Islands of the Caribbean are a must-see, must-experience type of big deal. Honestly. Which is why, thou shalt Island Hop!!!!

To paraphrase Forrest Gump, the Caribbean is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you might get. However, you definitely will get. You definitely will gain. As long as you Island Hop.

Now, is every experience or Caribbean Island going to be exceptional? No. Of course no. However, in order for you to get to those exceptional ten out of ten experiences you have to experience the sub ten experiences. Moreover, it is precisely the sub ten experiences that make the actual ten out of ten experiences feel so amazing.

Furthermore, even the so called sub ten experiences may actually be ten out of ten experiences. The issue is, they may be out of alignment with you. Who you are as a person, may simply be (somewhat of) a mismatch and that is okay. However, the point here is you owe it to yourself to keep on travelling in the Caribbean and Island Hopping, until you do find that Island that is for you.

As soon as you find your match. You will know. Things will click and fall into place. Relationships, work and life in general will make sense because you are exactly where you need to be.

Your Island Is Out There Somewhere And Your Tribe, Will Love Your Vibes.

There is a massive parallel between our love lives and our locations. The perceptive among us will be able to pinpoint and notice how good people and places often have each other in common. However, because people have freewill and to different extents, freedom of movement. It is next to impossible to control or guarantee the excellence of any one location. All that anyone can do is make a place as convenient for people to live as possible, so as to attract great people to live there.

Put a different way, what really makes a place special is always the people. The collective characteristics of a people, is the real magnet that makes people want to stay after they come to a place.

One place that comes to mind on this topic is Atlanta in the US. Atlanta has long had a reputation for a being place that has perfected turning people from visitors to residents. If you spend a little time researching why Atlanta is so “sticky” (i.e. able to make people stick around). One of the first things you’ll find is it is the people!!!!

Secondly, if you continue researching, you will likely notice that Atlanta is also a place that is people-friendly. Or to put it a different way, Atlanta is a place where people can live a relatively higher quality of life. To elaborate, there are plenty of green spaces, relatively cheaper rent, a relatively good job market, etc, etc, etc.

Now, the Caribbean is a place where Tourism tends to be important. Therefore, relying on second hand information is less than ideal. Caribbean people will often tell you to come to their Island or speak well of their island either because they genuinely love their Island (and are biased). Or, they want you to come because it is a good look for the local economy. Either way, the best thing you can do for yourself is to ask yourself where you want to go. After all, it is your life and life in general, is short. Which is why you should spend it doing what you want to do.

Travelling Is A Great Way To Find Yourself & Your Truth(s).

As human beings, we often like to think of ourselves as individuals. However, what we can sometimes forget is that one individual is made up of many different components. There is your horoscope, your personality, your interests, etc, etc, etc. What all of this basically means is that you as an individual are a summary of a lot of randomness. Life and the places you visit also basically come with a lot of randomness attached to them too. Which basically means you never know what you are going to get/experience whenever you travel to a new place. Which sounds really simple but it is precisely the simple things that we often overlook. Moreover, when people tell you that you should go to a particular place maybe they are over simplifying?

Nevertheless, the main point of this article is to get you to see the logic of travelling. The only way you can know what is out there is if you get up and go there!!!!

Now, if you happen to be from the Caribbean or live in the Caribbean what better thing to do than to Island Hop? If you love the Caribbean, one of the best things you can do for yourself is to explore it. You may be able to find blogs or websites of other people exploring the Caribbean. However, one thing that is harder to find, are the reviews of Caribbean Islands done by Caribbean people. Which is all well and good because it all about you seeing the Caribbean for yourself anyway.

Every Caribbean Island is unique. In exactly the same way that we as individuals are. Island Hopping is exactly like meeting new people. Again, Forrest Gump is right. You never know what you might get, the only way you can know what you are going to get is if you stay where  you are now.

When you travel or Island Hop, you open yourself up to the possibility of finding real treasure. Expand your horizons and your perception of what is possible.

In addition to pursuing your own personal treasure. When you travel or Island Hop, you are leaving a trail or even a legacy. In some small way you are letting the world know that you are here. You exist, this is you. This is how you do things and this is what you are about.

If you love the Caribbean, the best thing you can do is travel throughout the Caribbean. Get off the couch and show the Caribbean that loveone trip, at a time. It will absolutely be worth it when you find your match. When you Island Hop to an Island that you just know you will want to Island Hop or even move to, for the rest of your life.

You have nothing to lose, even if you go somewhere that’s a flop. You already know what to do, continue to Island Hop.
