1) Dominica has some of the freshest, fresh air on Earth.
The first thing you might notice when you come to Dominica (Nature’s Isle) for the first time is that the fresh air is really fresh.
It’s like Dominica never got the air pollution memo.
Instead, you may find yourself inhaling and savoring the fresh air of Dominica as it begins to dawn on you why Dominica, is known as Nature’s Isle.
It’s probably best to ask an expert, how living in an environment full of fresh air, benefits us, but the main thing you need to know is that in Nature’s Island, nature has your back and is your unspoken ally, always there, close by and just waiting for you to tap in and receive rejuvenation.
Whether you have completely lost touch with nature, are familiar with the power of nature and what the power of nature can bring you or, are a complete nature lover, Dominica, represents an opportunity for you to connect with Nature and be your best self!!!

2) Dominica is a piece of peace.
All adults know, there is no price that can accurately demonstrate the true value of peace.
People regularly do the uncommon and embrace change, precisely because they expect to attain more peace by doing so. Whether it’s the straw that broke the camels back, or a feeling of enough being enough, everybody eventually tends to decide to leave and try something new if they are denied a sense of peace for long enough.
One thing we all have in common is, we all tend to value peace, even though what peace means to each of us is likely different and unique.
Generally peaceful, calm and easy going with a relatively low crime rate, especially compared to most of the other islands in the (Caribbean) region. The sense of peace, security and safety that you feel is a unique, value for money experience, that you can expect from your time in this paradise.
Other places and locations wish they could offer their customers/visitors/immigrants a similar level of peace to that available in Nature’s Island because it is truly a very special, unique selling point (USP).
However, it is one of the few places on Earth, where one can genuinely and routinely feel a sense of peace.
In this way Dominca stands out in a way that most of her peers, simply are unable to.

3) The Cost of living in Dominica is relatively low.
Real ones and/or smart ones know, that it takes a dollar to make a dollar.
The holy grail of making money is being able to first save money, which can then be used to make more money until financial freedom is eventually achieved. (As most skillfully outlined in The Richest Man In Babylon by George S Clason).
If you want to live in a peaceful environment whilst you grow your
savings and prepare to make investments with those savings.
Dominica just might be the place for you.
Admittedly, the cost of living is rising, as it is everywhere else.
However, the island still has a relatively low cost of living.
Moreover, if you have excellent saving and budgeting skills, you will have a great chance at thriving on the island because Nature’s Isle has abundant blessings available to those who are wise and know how to use these natural resources sustainably.
Especially, if you decide to live outside of Roseau (the Capital), it is definitely possible to live relatively inexpensively in Dominica. That is to say, rent and other expenses are generally cheaper outside of Roseau, than in Roseau. So if you want your savings to go further even faster, living outside of Roseau should help you be able to do this.
However, there is no need to count out Roseau just yet, as deals can be found in Roseau when it comes to accommodation and everything else, plus, depending on your interests, Roseau might be exactly where you need to be!
4) The Dominican Way.
One of the best things about Dominica is it’s very rich culture.
Whilst the island has many similarities with other countries in the region.
Inevitably, Dominica and Dominicans always tend to stand out with their own, special brand of
uniqueness – which can be seen in everything from their products,
to music (Bouyon & Cadence), to the Carnival, to the island’s unique beauty, the Kalinago people,
etc etc etc. Suffice to say that there are many experiences waiting for you that you can only get on the island.
So if you have never been to Dominica and love the idea of trying something new – you should honestly give the idea of coming to Dominica some serious thought.
For a small island/country, there is so much for people to experience.
In Roseau there at least two markets, and of course the Museum, that lets a newcomer get an introduction into what the local culture has to offer.

5) Tours to make you say encore.
Whilst the island is obviously a relatively small country but, for a small country, there sure is a lot of diversity and options for you to explore. Where ever you are on the island, you are likely to feel a sense of peace and feel the charm of Nature’s Isle. However, whether it’s Diving, Whale Watching, spending time at the beach, visiting the different water falls available etc etc. Dominica definitely has a tour to make you say encore!!!
6) Investment opportunities.
Dominica’s economy is smaller than most.
However, the small economy size, probably is indicative of the fact that there are a lot of bargains to be had in Dominica. Depending on what you would want to invest in, it’s possible that an investment here could cost less and go further than an investment elsewhere. Instead of just taking our word for it, why not do some research and see for yourself? Just make sure you insert enough fun into your research that you end up having an exceptional experience whether you decide to invest in Dominica or not.
Dominica is very deserving of the name Nature’s Isle. As the soothing, healing powers of nature will find you where ever you are and soothe you.
Dominica, is normally peaceful, calm and a happy place to be. So, if you need a break from your regular routine and could do with reconnecting with nature and recharging your batteries, Dominica is the place for you. 7) Climate/Agriculture
Yes the Sun igets hot like, the sun elsewhere in the Caribbean.
However, the island seems to have a short yet steady supply of rain that contrasts with the rain fall in other Caribbean countries. Furthermore, there is plenty of rich, fertive land that makes Nature’s Island a great place to pursue agricultural endeavours.
8) A Land Of Rainbows.
It has been said that rainbows are a sign of hope,
that the Universe uses to let us know that everything will be okay, no matter how dark things get. Dominica is a land of rainbows, a land of hope, of peace and brightness of many colors – just, like, a rainbow.
Honestly speaking, after you notice your first rainbow – you probably start to notice that it seems rainbows are everywhere in Dominica. Therefore, it is definitely a good idea for you to come and see for yourself because Dominica is somewhere you really have to see with your own eyes to actually believe it!!!
9) Dominica’s Water Hits Different!!!!
As we first mentioned, when you arrive the first thing that hits you, is probably how clean and fresh the fresh air is!!!! However, when you eventually get around to encountering the water – it may give you a feeling of dè ja vu because like the fresh air, the water stands out!!!!
Firstly, if you see any tap water marked as drinking water, that water is probably on par with bottled water!!!
For most people, in most countries, tap water is subconciously rated below bottled mineral water and rightfully so. However, on this island, tap water marked drinking water and water that comes out of water fountains, are again, on par with bottled drinking water!!!
For those of you that like things that are free, the island has plenty of free, top quality, water for you to drink!!!
Which brings us to our final point.
In addition to all this, if you know where to find it, there is fresh natural water that tastes oh so good – if you know where to look. The water is naturally cool, tastes amazing and is probably available thoughout the island – again, if you know where to look!!!
10) The Work In Nature Program.
Dominica has its very own Work In Nature program for remote workers i.e. digital nomads or work from home types of people. The program is specifically for those that need a Visa to be eligible to live and/or work in Dominica. Under this program, people from foreign countries are able to live and Work In Dominica for up to 18 Months however, applicants must be working for a company based outside of Dominica and earning over 50,000 US Dollars a year.
