Said no one ever, but, someone could have said that and they really would be on to something!!! We have decided to write this article/post in order to let people out there who are new to our platform get a feel for what makes us tick, what motivates us, how we like to spend our time and basically, what we love.

Our 30th most viewed video is: Olatunji’s Outstanding Live Performance.

Time, is irreplaceable and therefore more valuable than money. It truly is and was a priceless memory, watching Soca Superstar Olatunji have another epic moment, as Soca fans were realising that right before their eyes Olatunji was giving life to a brand new Soca classic, Engine Room.

To be clear, Olatunji was on point the entire night but what stood out most from that night was seeing and feeling the vibes live, inside Olatunji’s Engine Room.

There is no irony at all in all of this when you consider that the title Engine Room was likely inspired by David Rudder’s song entitled with the same name. Olatunji, through music, proved that Soca music is still very much alive. Even if it is less “successful” than other genres. At least there is no doubt that Soca music is alive!!!! Thank you Olatunji.

At the end of the day, we are all just people and all people are interested in great vibes, things that are captivating, outstanding and unique! If there is one thing about Dominica, it is definitely a place that is captivating, outstanding and unique as our YouTube video clearly demonstrates.

Our 24th most viewed video on YouTube is Alison Hinds singing some of her most loved, classic Soca hits. Again, proving that we would all be wise to hang our hats on quality, that can stand the test of time. Rather than running behind every new trend that is born.

Alison Hinds is the epitome of quality Soca Music. The world will always need quality Soca Music and it probably is an amazing idea for you to watch Alison Hinds sings some of the best Soca ever made, live in Grenada.

First and foremost, much respect to Soca Legend and Royalty, Ronnie MacIntosh. It is one thing to be a living, breathing, source of Trinbagonian, Soca, pride. It is another thing entirely to add to that legacy, by serving your country by providing Carnival Revellers with a band launch that is free!!!! This fact is mind blowing when one observes other mas bands charging eye-watering sums of money just to attend their band launches.

What’s more, as our video emphatically proves, Ronnie and Caro gave revellers more – Carnival came early – for less, their band launch was free.

Paparazzi always bring it, every band launch and this band launch was no exception. What Paparazzi may have lacked with road presence a la Ronnie and Caro. Paparazzi made up for with a showtime presence, that lived up to their name!

Putting on a show that gave all cameras and Paparazzi reason to keep their lenses focused and their fingers snapping away at the Soca and Carnival spectacle presented by Paparazzi Mas Band.

It is nice to see a St. Lucian artist shining during St. Lucia Jazz Festival. Presumably, this was all a dream come true for Umpa. Representing your country and its music on the St. Lucia Jazz Festival stage has to feel so sweet because the St. Lucia Jazz Festival Stage is a local and global one, all at once.

To Umpa’s credit, Umpa never wasted the opportunity but instead, put on a show worthy of the stage entrusted to him. Umpa did St. Lucia and Dennery Segment proud.

This video came straight from the heart and was an emotional reaction to the awful news that TakeOff of Migos fame, had been murdered.

Death, murder, tends to be a gruesome, unfortunate thing. It tends to feel worse though, when the person that is murdered is young, successful, famous, rich and previously looked at as a rags to riches success story.

Such a story, feels like it went from a challenging trajectory, to one of success and then finally one of tragedy. The video was uploaded to try and serve as a reminder that gun crime is to be avoided at all costs. So as to gain something positive from out of the tragic occurence of TakeOff’s passing.
