Real Soca people know, that putting out top tier Soca Music is what Coutain does best!!!!!
However, Coutain is part of the New School, in Soca Music. Coutain is building his Soca Legacy right here, right now, before our eyes. (Brick by brick, as one of Certified Sampson’s characters would say, loooooooooooolllll).
However, the one thing that always tends to stand out, regardless of time, is quality. This is something that Coutain seems to always have had.
Coutain is like every, great artist. The first time you listen to them is all it takes, because all music lovers ears stick up the moment, they find quality. This is because quality, tends to always separate itself from quantity i.e. the rest. Quality, is the Holy Grail of music. The foundation that all truly successful careers, are founded on.
This extremely desirable and valuable characteristic (quality) is the thread that runs through all of Coutain’s music. So again, once a listener catches on to one Coutain song, the rest is history.

Currently, that video is already our 31st most watch video ever and counting!!!! With over 1.6 K views. (Between when this article was written and posted, the above figure has since grown to 2k).
In boxing, it is said that it is the unseen punches that tend to cause all of the k.o.s (knockouts). Coutain, in this sense, is well positioned to throw some k.o.s of his own because many, even hardcore Soca fans, never saw Coutain coming!!!!!!
The reason why this video continues to skyrocket is for the two following reasons: firstly Coutain is a (somewhat) new artist that some people are just finding out about.
Secondly, Coutain’s music contains that aspect of quality that makes it stand out.
So, we’ve mentioned the word quality, quite a bit when we have mentioned Coutain. However, some of you may be wondering, what exactly do we mean when we say that?
Well, primarily, we mean Coutain’s vocals. Let’s be clear, Coutain comes correct and gives music fans the full package. That is: great beats, lyrics, storytelling, vocals, melodies and vibes, etc etc.

To be clear, this is strictly vocals. Outside of this, the two artists are different. As Coutain never ventures far from his Trinbagonian and Caribbean roots.
Nevertheless, Coutain is without a doubt different from other Soca artists. His appeal is that he is a Soca artist that is both new and unique. His ability to take Soca fans, some of whom are new to his music, to new places is extremely exciting!!!!!!!
The perfect metaphor to put this point across is, a Car. Coutain is like the latest version of your dream car parked up outside your house with the keys right there on your bedside table.

Or, perhaps better yet. Coutain is like a plane ticket to that one place you most want to go to!!!! You know all the reasons you love this place but you also know that new adventures await you there.
The best thing about Coutain is that he has put out so much quality, good music like: Jamtown, Wedding Band, Artform, and Junction, etc, etc. However, whether consciously or subconsciously, Soca fans then wonder, if Coutain could give us all this Soca sweetness, what else does he have in store???!!!!!!!!!
