Chloe Bailey performing at St. Lucia Jazz Festival

Chloe Bailey & St. Lucia Got A Thing Going On

Not The Crowd’s Reaction Proving Chloe Bailey’s Superstar Status.

Before Chloe Bailey even takes the stage, fans begin screaming her name.

You know how it is, some families you are born into and others just happen. Chloe Bailey and St. Lucia, honestly do have a (love) thing going on. When you think about it, it’s very easy to see why. Chloe Bailey, on the one hand is one of the finest, most attractive female singers since Beyoncé Knowles.

Chloe Bailey is also one of the best female singers/performers since, well, again, Beyoncé Knowles. Able to literally sing and dance her behind off. None other than the legendary Beyonce Knowles is probably the best comparison to Chloe Bailey. However, Chloe Bailey’s career as an actress in her own right is where Chloe can distance herself from the legendary Beyoncé. Thus far, Chloe has already appeared in 18 movies. Moreover, as many real ones know, Chloe and her sister Halle have long been known for their acting skills. With their well received roles on  the popular African American sitcom Grown-ish.

Social Media Can Be So Mid.

However, anybody paying attention to Chloe Bailey discussions online would know that Chloe Bailey has long been a recipient of her fair share of criticism. Part of this is definitely a result of Chloe’s success/fame – as people can only criticize who they know. The important point to bare in mind here is the bruises Chloe’s received from her own compatriots, is partly why she loves St. Lucia so much. In St. Lucia, she gets to be free from the critiques and just be the creative that she is and celebrated as such.

St. Lucians on the other hand get to enjoy CB’s talent & having her celebrity around. Moreover, St. Lucians get to enjoy watching CB enjoy Saint Lucia.

Social Media is so big in the US it is perhaps the silent elephant in the room. The positive side of social media in the US is that it enables the extraordinary to become ordinary. That is, people can make lucrative sums of money from social media e.g. Kai Cenat, AMP, etc etc.

The negative side of social media is the criticism (cost) that comes along with the social media fame. Even if the people who have achieved success or fame are blessed with the ability to avoid negative thoughts or over thinking. The criticism that comes from people on social media could insert such negativity into someone’s life that otherwise would be nonexistent.

On the other hand, to a certain extent, it is also true that Caribbean people do sometimes just treat others better than their own. Rolling out the red carpet for some overseas celebrities whilst nitpicking local celebs in the same way Americans do to Chloe. Ultimately though, it is unheard of for locals on social media to get to, or negatively impact the mental health of a local celebrity. So whilst parallels may exist, the US is probably the capital of Cyber Bullying worldwide. Again, this is probably just the less cool side of America’s economy being so developed.

CB Is The Truth!!!!

Nevertheless, the truth is, Chloe Bailey’s talents are way more worthy of discussion than the so-called flaws her haters would have us discuss. Indeed, when we posted the video of Chloe’s live performance at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival the overwhelmjng response was: why has sis been getting so much hate?!!!!

As previously mentioned, this is precisely why we love posting videos of live performances so much. It enables folks to put away the dialogue and simply allow an artists actions (performance) to speak for itself. No long talking, no finessing, only perform and let that talk for you, that’s it.

Another really important thing that shone through in the most undeniable way is Chloe Bailey’s heart. The irony of it all is that the haters are hating on the sweetest, kindest hearted person ever. This also, beggar’s belief. People, in addition to coming for a genuinely super talented person. Have been coming for a super talented person, with a heart of gold.

Nowadays, social media seems to hate positivity. Pay a celebrity a compliment online and if that celebrity has a scandal associated to them, within two minutes someone on social media will (censor) you (tell you) why you must withdraw your compliment. Which is, or would be understandable if, they were letting artists like Chloe Bailey live. Unfortunately, even scandal free celebrities like Chloe get an unfair and inordinate, amount of hate online.

So with all that being said, forget a Chloe Bailey hater and big up to all those that love Chloe Bailey! If you are Chloe Bailey fan, may we all be united in one love.

The reason being is, we are blessed to have such a profound, gifted talent, like Chloe that we can celebrate. For, if there is one thing that is outstanding about Chloe, it is that she is living her truth. Folks wondered why Chloe received so much hate after they saw her perform live because they could see the truth that is Chloe Bailey. When you see Chloe perform, you see her truth and you see her perform her truth. Chances are you will love it because somewhere between the rhythm and vocals, Chloe Bailey’s music makes an extremely convincing argument.

If RnB is dead, it sure is alive when Chloe Bailey is singing it. Honestly speaking, know one else can fill Chloe’s entertainer shoes. Sis’ talent is the truth. Her versatility speaks volumes. Chloe’s stage presence and choreography are captivating. Her power as a performer is such that Ray Charles could see it, as clear as day. This woman is most captivating in real life, regardless of how inaccurate the perception of her on social media maybe. If you get a chance to see her go, to say no would be crazy. After all, she is the one, the only, Chloe Bailey.
