If New Soca Music Gets Your Blood Pumping, You’ve Come To The Right Place.
1) Inch By Inch Yung Bredda
Directed and produced by Shania Perez this tune oozes greatness through every single one of it’s fibers. The attention to detail is supreme, it really looks like this tune was built, inch by inch, en route to Soca greatness.
The beat (a sort of Konpa meets Steelpan fusion vibe), Yung Bredda, the video, all understood the assignment. There is nothing but quality in sight and on top of all that Yung Bredda reps T&T very well with the inclusion of the national instrument (Steelpan). If you are yet to listen to this top tier Yung Bredda tune, do so now by clicking the video linked above.
2) Lady Lava No Horn
Lady Lava is quietly carving out a very special place for herself in the World Of Soca. In this song, No Horn, Lady Lava uses a double entendre by refering to the horn sound and infidelity at the same time. She also makes a moral argument that men get the best out of women by being faithful. It’s hard to argue with Lady Lava or deny her lyrical dexterity, versatility, or sheer creativity.
Produced by Xplicit Mevon, the first thing that kicks in with this track is the Oil Drums. Sackie, Lady Lava and Melick all know there way around putting out a Steamy Tune together and it shows!!!!
This track is for all those out there that can appreciate an uptempo Soca song about sex.
4) Meet Me On The Road Miss Diva Featuring M1.
Miss Diva Featuring M1 is a Pop Soca kind of song. With strong vocals from Miss Diva and the expected top tier delivery from M1. There is literally nothing to dislike about this song that serves as a reminder to us all to get in a gear for Carnival!!!!
5) Cheers by Problem Child.
The beat, is uptempo and persistent. The video, is super clean and looks like it based in either the Latin Caribbean or Central America. Wherever it is, it speaks to Problem Child taking a moment to appreciate and be grateful for where is.
Literally outside of his beloved home island of St. Vincent And The Grenadines. Nevertheless, doing what he loves to do. That is, put out new music his way. The video, was directed by Problem Child himself. We say cheers to that!!!!
6) Cooking (Remix) Farmer Nappy Featuring Shelly & North.
This is a Konpa meets Soca song. All Farmer Nappy fans know that Farmer loves to put out music that has that local vibe. This tune features Farmer Nappy reaching across from his native Trinidad and Tobago to Haiti. As Farmer Nappy shares his take on the beautiful music of Konpa.
Farmer definitely understood the assignment which has extra authenticity added with the inclusion of Shelly and North. Who help put some Creole in the Konpa. Whoever among us is looking for authentic, good music, need look no further.
This is a Konpa meets Soca, love song, that uses the concept of cooking to express feelings of love and gratitude. Epic music here, for sure.
7) Hey Choppi x Voice In We Veins
Is a love song about Carnival that communicates the euphoria, sweetness and importance of Carnival/Soca Music. In 2025, Trinidadian Soca artists seem to be leading from the front with a pro collaboration approach that speaks to Trinidad’s National Motto: together we aspire, together we achieve.
For example, we’ve had Hey Choppi Voice, Voice Trini Baby, Nailah Blackman GBM Nutron, Nailah Blackman Patrice Roberts etc etc. Hopefully this trend continues, as the fusion of music that collaboration brings may well provide a solid foundation for Soca Music to level up.
Soca fans getting to hear Hey Choppi’s vocals alongside Voice’s voice. Is giving Christmas came early!!!!!!!! Go Trinbago, go!!!!
Speaking of collaboration in Soca Music between Trini artists. Next up we have 8) Bacchanal Mode with Preedy and Patrice Roberts.
This tune and video is absolutely full of love for Trini culture. However, it definitely has a mainstream, pop, even Disney feel to it. The whole point of making art is to push boundaries and bring new creativity, to culture.
What Preedy and Patrice have done here, may well inspire the next generation of Trinis to produce work that bears fruit in film and/or theatre. Moreover, this tune definitely is relatable throughout the year. Lastly, to get Preedy vocals, alongside Patrice’s vocals is a huge blessing!!!!
9) Fiery by Jadel.
Jadel Is an artist that has an insane amount of potential. Her latest tune, Fiery is super groovy. You may well find that the beat has mysteriously applied Snake Oil to your waistline!!!! (You’ve been warned). This tune is perfect for putting you in a zone and giving you motivation to stop talking and start whining. What more could you want?
10) Speaking of Groovy Soca, Yung Bredda just dropped his latest tune called Steamy. This song confirms that Yung Bredda is on fire right now.
You can always tell when someone is on top of their game. This new tune from Yung Bredda confirms as much. All Groovy Soca fans, do yourself a favor and add this tune to your playlist now!!!! (You’re welcome).
11) Young and Restless by Voice has some very strong power Soca vibes. Especially, when the hook kicks in. The song is somewhat reminiscent of Bunji’s Big, Bad, Soca. After the hook, voice calms it down with his verses. However, as the hook starts, “he turns into a different man” and straight up wilds out, as the Power Soca vibes take full sway. Bunji Garlin, would be proud and appreciate this one for sure!!!!
12) Imani Ray & Pumpa come together to create a tune called Recipe. The Power Soca continues as both artists invoke the art of delivering plenty of double entendres. Whilst the sounds of upbeat oil drums in the background set the scene for a hard jam to take place.
13) Sweet Spot by Patrice Roberts takes place on the same (Raw Honey Riddim). One of the best things about this tune is it gives Patsy fans a chance to hear Patrice’s voice on this brand new riddim. It’s giving a hint of nostalgia, with a heavy dose of something new.
14) Speaking of nostalgia, Problem Child joins the fun of the raw honey riddim with his tune, Not Normal. Problem is still a problem and wastes no time breaking down just why his muse is not normal!!!! Soca people give thanks, we have some things we can do some things with.
15) Giovanni Featuring Daddy Fete puts out his tune, Under Your Pot. He also proceeds to make use of double entendres to discreetly get his point across. While the tune only has around a thousand views. This is more due to Giovanni being less well known than your average Soca artist. However, this is definitely high quality, top tier Soca. So definitely add this one to your Soca Music Playlist.
16) Last Train by Mical Teja is such a fun project. Be sure to watch the official video of this song. Mical uses the video to add some 1950’s movie vibes to this song. The love of his life is set to get married but Mical Teja is on the last train to stop his true love from marrying her wealthy fiancé. With true love, being his only line of argument.
Some of the main themes and vibes that this song is giving is Groovy Soca, love and whining. Such a beautiful piece of art. Enjoy it y’all.
17) Rane Blackman Carnival Baby
Features an uptempo, pounding beat that provides the fuel all revellers need, to get ready to take over the road. This tune successfully paints the picture of Carnival. All revellers will find themselves looking ahead to when they next get to masquerade again.

Her vocals and the very institution of Carnival, also get to show off in this video that every reveller on earth should see.
19) No Soca Playlist is complete without any Bajan Soca. Thankfully, Hypasounds’ Made Fuh Dat ensures that this Soca list does in fact include some sweet Bajan Soca. This tune is tune for the gyal and them to wuk up to. Plain and simple. Not quite Power Soca, more like uptempo Groovy Soca.
Hypasounds is a well known Soca brand. So lets just say Hypasounds is still in the business of distributing plenty of Soca pleasure, through his music. Made Fuh Dat is sweet Bajan, wuk up inspiration.

21) All Rounder by Farmer Nappy is classic brand new Farmer Nappy if that makes sense. The production sounds like it might be produced by De Red Boyz. (Who definitely have a great working relationship and track record of success with Farmer Nappy).
Farmer keeps the double entendre trend going as Farmer Nappy uses Cricket terminology to explain what he brings to the table of his muse.
22) Kristina James Mr Man
Is an independent woman, soca love song. The visualizer is set on the beach in Maracas, and the theme is Kristina saying goodbye to Mr Man. Instead of putting up with his nonsense, Kristina is going to choose to “whine until she falls in love”.
The video shows off the beauty of Maracas and Kristina. Whilst the song shows off Krisitina’s vocals. Great work done here from all involved.
23) Smooth Criminal by Freetown Collective is on the Honey Butter Riddim. This Riddim is a huge deal from a cultural perspective, because you can hear Afro Soca, Konpa, Bouyon and Zouk all in this one Riddim. Talk about eclectic, sophisticated and culturally rich.
This one Riddim has us simultaneously in the Motherland (Africa) and the (Caribbean) Islands. That is a musical and spiritual high that everybody deserves to partake in. The really cool part is mutiple artists have put out there songs on this Riddim. Thereby spoiling us all.
Freetown Collective, paints a picture of a gyal capable of stealing all from Freetown. Like candy from a baby. This is soca so sweet that Kes himself would likely approve.
24) No Complaints by Preedy on the Honey Butter Riddim is the epitome of sweet Soca. If you took one hundred Soca fans and played them this song, chances are you would have one hundred new bff’s. Like, you would get no complaints looool. (See what we did there?)

Remember, that Honey Butter Riddim, has Konpa, Zouk, Bouyon, Afro Soca etc inside of it. That is a whole lot of sweetness that you can find nowhere else. Given the sheer range of Caribbean culture featured in this riddim, this tune/riddim really does deserve the whole Caribbean being aware of it.
26) Julie Mango by Motto.
Okay so, Soca people have at times, had reasons to criticize Motto’s work. That is true of all of us. We all make mistakes and are human. However, Julie Mango is top tier work from Motto. Everything from the video, to the production and even the lyrics, are flawless. Motto has given us the full package with this song. It is a slow tempo, sexy song that is addictive, just like Julie Mango is.

32) Rome Horn Again.
Is so great. The song is funny. Lyrically sharp and production wise, it has a Trumpet in it. Perhaps a subtle joke on Rome, or all of us. Low key telling us that we are joking if we think we will be able to escape getting a horn.
The video is even funnier as the attention to detail displayed in the song is demonstrated again in the video. Moreover, Rome continues the use of humor in the video, which makes it, a must watch!!!!
Destra Free Again
Destra Garcia. Some artists so define a genre that their absence is keenly felt by loyal fans. Destra probably continued performing and only took a teeny break from releasing music. However, when you think Soca, you tend to think Destra Garcia. So her taking a break from putting out music was something Soca fans could feel.
Apparently Destra is now feeling Free Again and putting out new music again. Thank goodness for that because Destra is irreplaceable to Soca, as is her most wonderful voice.
34) Revelation Melody Sweet
Which is a remake of Baron’s classic hit. One thing that it is nice to see, is Trinis appreciating Trini art. The fact that Revelation strikes a great balance between honoring Baron and adding his new energy, is all one could ask for. Being able to get on to this tune sober or under some Rum, would be everything!!!!
Soca artists definitely represent well. All we need now is for DJ’s to understand the assignment and help broadcast the great work that Soca artists are doing.
35) LucratiV Kangkalang
LucratiV is another artist doing his part to represent for the culture. Kangalang refers to the noise that gets made when a live instrument is being beaten. The song is a celebration of Trini culture and to push the levels of authenticity even higher, LucratiV’s visualizer for this one features a lime, with himself performing the song live whilst limers enjoy the vibes. Real Trini, Soca vibes!!!!!!!!
36) Next in line to represent for Trini culture is Okay Pronto with Bad Again. With this tune Okay Pronto successfully outlines what Mas and Carnival means to all real Revellers.
